Description

Victorian Gate is a 9 karat Yellow Gold Victorian Heart Lock Bracelet.  This lovely Bracelet features hinged “gate” like links that form 6 1/2″ of this Bracelet.  The Gate links are approx 1″ in length x 5/8″ in width.  There is another 1″ between the large jump rings that connect each end of the Bracelet to the Heart Lock.   Hence, the total length of this Bracelet is approx. 7 1/2″.  A  permanent safety chain also goes thru from one side to the other side of the Bracelet.  The Heart Lock does open and pull up to allow each end to be free, but not completely as the chain gives just a little, as it slides thru a bale on the end catch of the Heart Lock.  So very secure once on.  The gate links of the Bracelet are Hallmarked “9 ct” on each link as is the back of the Heart Lock.  Circa 1900’s.
