Description

The Sun God Bug is a 14 karat Yellow Gold Enamel Lady Bug Bracelet.  This stunning Bracelet features a pattern of a red, yellow, green and teal colored enamel Lady Bugs with the pattern repeated 2 1/2″ times.  Hence, there are three red, three yellow, two green and two teal, for a total of ten (10) colorful Lady Bugs.  They have black enamel heads with black enamel spots and gold lines running thru their bodies.  The back of this Bracelet is solid Yellow Gold.  They are connected to each other by oval links.  This Bracelet is 7″ in length and finished off with a lobster claw clasp.  Hallmarked “ITALY 14kt (did not photo well to show-faint)”.

The Japanese word for “ladybug” is (tentomushi)”.  The name roughly translates to “sun god bug,” derived from the belief that ladybugs fly toward the sun.
