Description

Pleasantville is an “E. Locke” Mother Of Pearl 18 karat Yellow Gold Baroque Pearl Pin.  The 18 karat Yellow Gold framed rectangular Mother Of Pearl depicts a serene scene of a country village with flowers, leaves and trees among village huts with birds walking around the ground.  In the middle is a circle with a shield symbol and a strong arm upheld with a knife in the hand (looks like the old “Arm and Hammer Laundry Detergent Advertisement”) except the arm has a knife, not the hammer).  The back scene of the M.O.P. depicts a different scene with the same flowers, leaves and trees, but more huts and village people walking around.   Dangling from the bottom are three Yellow Gold capped (10 mm) Baroque Pearls (look like dangling Acorns).   This Pin measures 2 1/2″ x 1 1/4″.  The Pin back is a hinged and has one bar that fits in the bell cup for security and the other is shorter to fit thru a piece of clothing also.  Hallmarked “EL” (his signature initials) and 18K”.
