Midnight Angel Wings are Platinum and 14 karat Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond Leverback Art Deco Earrings.  These stunning beauties feature a large 2.00 to 2.50 carat oval multi faceted Sapphire, in each Earring, surrounded by small round graduated prong and bezel set Diamonds in an angel wing style Platinum mounting.  The leverback top to these Earrings also has prong and bezel set Diamond mounted in Platinum.  The leverback portion is in Yellow Gold as is the outer rim of the back of these Earrings.  The total carat weight of the two (2) Sapphires is 4.00 to 5.00 carats.  The total carat weight of all the Diamonds is 1.00 carats.  The Clarity is VS2 and the Color is I.   These Earrings measure 1 1/2″ x 1/2″.  Circa 1930’s.
