Description

Inca Rose is a Sterling Silver Rhodochrosite Bead and Pendant Necklace.  This pretty bright Beads Necklace has numerous oval Rhodochrosite beads of 16″ (beads only) Necklace.   There is a 3″ chain extension with a lobster claw clasp.  Dangling from this Bead Necklace is a large Sterling Silver bale Pendant with intricate bridge, fan and balloon style embossing in the Silver.  Inside of this border is a 1 1/4″ ovalish Rhodochrosite stone.  Each bead measures approx 5/8″ x 3/8″.  Hence, this Necklace can be worn as 19″.  Hallmarked “925 CP”.

Inca Rose is derived from the Greek word rhodon (rose) and chroma (color).  Historically, the Incas referred to it as “Inca Rose,” believing it was formed from the fossilized blood of their ancient kings and queens.
