Description

Star Illusion is a Platinum Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring.  A .50 carat Old European Cut Diamond is prong set in the middle with four angled corners which hold a blue stone in a triangle.  Looking downward, this creates the illusion of a Star.  Between the two angled blue stones is a small round prong and bezel set Diamond.  There are two of these Diamonds on each side, as part of the bridge filigree mounting.  The side shanks also have a small round round prong and bezel set Diamond in a shield or kite shaped mounting.  The total carat weight of the four small round Diamonds is .10 carats.  The Clarity of all the Diamonds is VS1 and the Color is G-H.  Hallmarked “10 % ID SES”(worn off, hard to see).     Size 7 1/2”.  Circa 1920’s.
